We all know professional portraits can sometimes be stressful or intimidating but the boutique experience I offer will keep things easy breezy. You will be guided every step of the way through a luxury portrait experience and together, we'll design your dream portrait session.  The day of your session we will take our time and enjoy the process.  Finished portraits on your walls, beautiful print displays or Holiday cards will remind you time and again of the love you experienced with your family.

Family Sessions: If you need a break or the family needs a break, no problem.  Kids will be kids, but I assure you, you'll be having so much fun, things will just play out naturally. If on the other hand, Daddy needs to run or isn't into it, we can have his shots finished up quickly and as painlessly as possible.  My ultimate goal is to leave you feeling pleasantly surprised at how much fun you just had!

Senior Portraits: We'll allow 2-3 wardrobe changes and will try and capture your personality in every shot. Senior sessions typically include shots of activities you participated in high school and can be shot on on school grounds with permission.

Headshots: Whether you're looking for the typical corporate headshot or a more relaxed vibe, I've got you covered. Typical classic headshots are shot indoors using lighting equipment, however we can put a modern twist on those old stagnant photos and include you sitting in the board room or working at your desk. For more relaxed headshots, together we will choose an outdoor location that will allow for posed as well as relaxed shots that put your very best foot forward. Remember, you don't get a second chance to make a first impression.

Your experience certainly doesn't end there.  The fun has just begun.  Approximately 5-7 days after your session, your images will be available for you to review in your password-protected online gallery. This is a time for you to sit back, relax and enjoy the images I have edited for you. ​

What do we do if it rains? I'm pretty good about watching the weather.  We'll check the weather apps 7-10 days out and follow along closely.  If we can't make it work due to Mother Nature, we'll reschedule your session or move it to a different location. 

 

What do I do if my child gets sick?  We all understand all children get sick.  It's what they do!  Please give me as much notice as possible and we'll reschedule your session for when they are feeling better.  Sick kids are cranky and usually don't cooperate.  I do have a 48 hour cancellation policy so please let me know right away.

What do I wear? Neutral colors as well as bold, bright colors always photograph nicely.  Just be sure to pick complimentary colors and keep in mind the decor in your home.  You want your portrait art to look classy and polished so a well-styled wardrobe is very important.  Included in your Digital Welcome Packet is a What to Wear guide. We can also text or email ideas back and forth to find a style that accurately conveys your personality.  Don't be afraid, this is supposed to be fun!

What does the average client spend on portraits? The cost for a portrait Session is $475 and includes all digital files. Throughout the year, I will offer Mini Sessions on a limited basis which cost $300. We live in a digital world and most of my clients want their photos delivered as quickly and easily as possible.  For your convenience, your photos will be delivered via digital download and available to you immediately upon delivery with a print release. I recommend printing images at www.MPix.com as they typically print quickly and their printers are calibrated with my monitor.

​How long after my session will I have to wait to see my finished photos? Approximately 5-7 days after your session, your photos will be available to view in your online viewing gallery. Depending on the time of year, sometimes galleries can be done in 3-5 days. Digital files are delivered online through the viewing site.
